Everyone has their favorite social media accounts to follow on each platform. What keeps you coming back for more?
Most of the time, successful social media users will create sizzling stories to share on all platforms. They go above and beyond the average static graphic or photograph and enhance it.
Of course, you want your content to pop! To get your followers to stop scrolling and engage with your content, there are free apps that can make this process go swiftly and quickly.
To start, check out an app that I LOVE called StoryChic! This app offers a free version that lets users upload their own photos or graphics and turn it into an animated picture. You can add music, text, or stickers to the animation.
When viewers are clicking through stories, you want to have multiple images or videos to click through. This will hold the attention and spark interest in what you are promoting. This doesn’t mean that all of your graphics should be just static or animated, you can create a combination if you’d like. The key is to express creativity and make the content match your brand!
Incorporate gifs, stickers, or moving images to increase engagement. Allow the user to understand the step-by-step of the message you are sharing. End your story with a call-to-action that prompts followers to a new location with further information.
Apps like “Continual” will allow you to separate your story into different chunks. This lets you split up the video and include only the desired clips before posting on social media. Or, try MixCaption to add subtitles to any video you are sharing on your story.
Make it dynamic and fun! Let it come to life and sizzle rather than sticking with a static story. Get creating, goal digger! 🙂
