Unsplash has a photo library of over 1.5 million pictures available for use. These photos are divided into several different categories which allow for easy browsing. The search bar makes it even easier to find what you’re looking for by accessing keywords and descriptions. Any post that is offering a product, promotion, service, or even just your typical #MotivationMonday post—can benefit from adding an appropriate, colorful, and fun background photo!
Another great resource is Pexels, a free stock photo website with several options of animated photos and videos. Some of these videos may be as short as 4 seconds or as long as a few minutes. These are also free but the website owner asks for users to share the name of the original artist. There’s a range of professional and amateur artists sharing content on these sites, so amp up all of your own content by showcasing their work!
