This year, I was recognized as a #2 recruiter for my company! I am going to share my secret recruiting tips with you so you can up your game and grow to a new level within your business.
When it comes to recruiting, how do you reach the top of the line?
I went from someone who was mostly getting customers to someone who was getting customers, and also business builders. Now, remember, this won’t happen overnight. I’ve been working on advancing these strategies for three years and perfecting the way that I connect with others. I get to build the business that I want to build without worrying when the next customer will show up in my inbox.
The first strategy is adding value to all parts of your business. Are you really getting clear on the type of content you’re putting out on a consistent basis? Are you targeting a certain audience or connecting with your ideal avatar?
You must be clear on the pain points and struggles of your ideal avatar, AKA—the person who you’re trying to reach. Then, you can build content around the issues that you’re working to solve. Figure out your content strategy. Commit to posting every single day on social media, whether you’re on one platform or several.
Share one piece of powerful content every single week—a tangible resource such as a Facebook Live, podcast, YouTube video, whatever it may be. If you really do want to stop the scroll, you have to put out a ton of content and make your voice known among other social media users. Exhaust your efforts. Go all-in with your content, develop a strategy, and you’ll be fueled by what you are posting!
The next strategy I adapted was that I became a mentor. I did this unapologetically and without an agenda. I started to make genuine connections, without reaching for any outcome, and rather sharing different ideas, tips, and conversations to get to know the person I’m chatting with.
Become an authority figure before you feel ready. Let go of your imposter syndrome. Figure out ways to connect with others that don’t relate back to your business.
Once you nail down your strategic content and you’re able to share value then you will unapologetically become a mentor. If you’re mentoring but not posting valuable content, you’re losing credibility. You’ll fall flat if you don’t take charge in both of these business areas. Focus on posting and see how it’s received.
