Do you understand the difference between indirect and direct curiosity posts? For many reasons, we don’t want to be showing the name of our product or company on social media. We can create indirect curiosity to engage and connect with your audience without sharing too many details about your product.
You’ll want to think of questions and present topics that can engage your audience and inspire them to take action. Think of captions that will ask questions about the habits or lifestyle of your followers. Although this is an indirect question, you are widening the net to share your message with every person who is interested in your product.
You’ll be able to get more answers and insights from people by asking general questions to understand better how to serve them. Once you find a similar interest or mutual ground, you’ll be able to plant to seed and start the conversation with a new prospect. Our goal is not to try to close every person you chat with the first time. The goal is to understand if they are open to learning more and trying out your product and business.
Over the course of four weeks, create a schedule of sharing one post about your product that week. The next week, share one post about your business. Repeat this cycle for the following two weeks and leave it for the month! You don’t want to overdo it or max out the time you’re spending chatting about your business and products.
By slowing sprinkling in the idea and leveling up your conversations with prospects, you’ll be able to connect with more customers and blow up your business. Don’t be afraid to strike the conversation once you’ve established the commonality between you two. You’ve got this!
