If you’re like most people, then recruiting is an area that you struggle with quite a bit. Once I learned and implemented these hacks, everything changed for me. I have now been able to be recognized as a top recruiter in my company and personally enroll over 250 people all while maintaining to recruit double digits on a monthly basis. Stay tuned to hear my five recruiting hacks and tips and tricks to go along with them.
First, the biggest myth you probably hear is that you can’t reach out to people directly; I’m here to tell you that that is not at all true. If you’re not having enough people come to you and show curiosity in your business, then you are going to have to reach out to people, but not cold message them. Before we reach out, let’s show them some love and appreciation by taking a minute to look at their feed, stories and profile. For example, say, “Hey, ‘so and so’! We have a lot of friends in common, I checked out your profile and we also have a lot in common! I’m excited to connect, tell me a bit about yourself!”
Next, you need to make sure that you get permission before sending any type of link. I totally get that you’re gung-ho about your business, I am too! But, slow yourself down a little bit and first say, “Can I send this link to you?” and let them know what it links to and why you think it would help them out.
This third one is a mindset shift that you need to make sure you understand: building your business is not a one-size-fits-all strategy. It’s different for every person! You need to look at what works best for you. Your upline should not control your destiny by putting you in a box and saying there’s only one way to recruit, because there’s plenty more than they realize. If you aren’t finding success in the way your upline taught you how to recruit, then you look to see how other coaches build their businesses. Go get some skills and learn from others.
Always, always make sure that you’re sharing on social media consistently and following the 80-20 rule. Remember, 80% of your page is value-driven and shows you, your kids, your family, your growth, your Facebook lives, challenges, etc. while the other 20% is curiosity posts about your product and even direct-posts sharing your products results. Don’t shove your product or service down people’s throats, especially on social media, they don’t like that.
Lastly, listen carefully, you must be organized and stop fake working. Make sure that you know what online strategies and systems you’re using to recruit and convert customers. Be organized – make sure that you’re tracking your leads somewhere. Have a sales funnel where you know exactly what to say to each person in each step they are being recruited. A big tip that helped me stay organized and work hard was to turn off all social media notifications that are not necessary to have on. That way, you are not distracted by your phone constantly. If you implement these five recruiting hacks, you’ll be a master-recruiter in no time!
