Are you a TikTok fan? If so, read through this blog to see how you can repurpose your TikToks onto Instagram reels and get thousands of views! Instagram reels are slightly less competitive than TikTok because the algorithm is a little different. The Goal Digger Girl brand has recently hit 40k followers on Instagram and it was all done organically by using all of Instagram’s different features. If you want to learn how to do the same, keep reading along!
There is an easy way to repurpose your TikToks onto Instagram reels and today, I’m going to show you how. I get some videos that go viral on TikTok but most of them are not shown on many users’ feeds. However, on Instagram reels I get anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 viewers on each video. I did a test and posted on both platforms every day to see which received more views and reels won by far. There is a trick to repurposing TikToks though…you need to make sure the watermark is taken off. Let me show you exactly how I repurpose my TikToks.
First, you want to record a brand new TikTok video. Or, if you’re not on TikTok, you can skip over that first step. Once you’ve posted to your TikTok feed, open the video and copy the link. Next, you’re going to want to visit a site called ssstik.io. On this site, it will prompt you to insert a TikTok video link to download a file without the watermark. Paste the link from your most recent TikTok video into the download bar and hit download. In the top corner an icon will pop up showing you the file where the TikTok is downloaded, click the downloaded file and open the video. Now, you have your TikTok video without the watermark on there.
Once you’ve downloaded your most recent TikTok video, visit Instagram on your device, hit the plus symbol to add content and upload it onto Instagram reels. Use the same description on Instagram that you used on TikTok when uploading your content. Also, bonus tip, come up with a set of hashtags for each platform (TikTok and Instagram). I would suggest six hashtags for each app. Now, after your video is uploaded to reels, click on the video and add it to your Instagram story using a sticker curated by Instagram. Instagram favors when you use their designs on their platform so there’s a higher chance it will show up on other’s discovery page.
So, keep in mind…TikTok video needs to be recorded and uploaded first, remove the watermark using the site listed above, and upload to Instagram reels. I also share my video to Facebook to get more traction on it and familiarize my audience with the content. Every time I do this, I get thousands of views on my reels. Once you complete these steps, tag @TheGoalDiggerGirl in your stories with your reel and I will give you a personal shout-out on my Instagram! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get your content in front of 40,000 pairs of eyes! I can’t wait to check them out.
