How to Show Up Intentionally Online to Attract Your Ideal Audience

There’s still a lot of entrepreneurs and network marketers out there who struggle with building their presence online. Through no one’s fault of their own, social media is constantly progressing with the times which makes it somewhat difficult to keep up. Today I want to show you the basics on how to level-up your online presence to attract your ideal avatar and business builder. This is not just for influencers but for anyone who is looking to build the business of their dreams and make it a habit to show up intentionally on social media. 

There is not a better time in the history of marketing to build a business online and perform the tasks I’m going to teach you. With the click of a button, your perfect avatar can find you and make the decision to work with you. When it comes to leveling up your online presence, I want to know how many of you are looking to attract your ideal avatar through your content? And before you go posting random content on your profile, do you know who you’re posting for? When I first got into network marketing, I was in the corporate world and all I wanted was to be home with my kids and husband and stop living paycheck-to-paycheck. Then, that became my ideal avatar – someone who was in the corporate world and wanted to be home with their family and make more money. When you get really clear on who you want to work with, you get to start working with people you really enjoy being around. 

Here are five things that you can implement TODAY to attract your avatar through your content: 

  1. Give your profile a makeover. 

Your profile should be easily accessible and reflective of who you are – especially if you want to attract business builders. People are stalking the internet and if they stumble upon you and your profile is missing key elements, they’re going to be hesitant to work with you. You should have a great profile photo, an informative bio, a call-to-action, and a creative cover photo. 

  1. Make sure people know what you do. 

You don’t/shouldn’t have to say the name of the company you work for, but, we should know what you do. Check out other network marketers pages and see how they inform their viewers of what they do. Never copy, just pull inspiration. 

  1. Share 80% value on your wall. 

You want to make sure you’re continuously building your know-like-trust factor. You can do this by developing themes for each day of the week on what type of content you should be posting, then, figure out a way to incorporate curiosity around your products. For example, if you’re in the health and wellness industry, you should incorporate health and wellness tips and tricks to provide value to your audience. People come to social media to be entertained, not to be sold to. Remember that. 

  1. Tell them how they can get in touch with you. 

Make sure you include a call-to-action in your bio or somewhere visible to your audience. A couple of resources I’ve used in the past are LinkTree and Milkshake. They should be able to figure out how to do business with you and get into your world easily. 

  1. Show up consistently. 

This is extremely important. When you ask yourself: Why am I not growing my sales/team/community? It’s because you’re taking your foot off the gas too often. I want to challenge you to put your head in the books and work hard for 90-days. It’s around the 90-day mark where you will reap the rewards. If you keep taking your foot off the gas, you will lose the know-like-trust factor you’ve worked so hard to build. When people don’t see you online, other people take up your space. 

I will leave you with this, if you don’t have any “haters”, you’re doing something wrong. Become known for something. Stand up for what you believe in. And show yourself authentically on social media.
