Today I’m going to share with you how to get 1,000 views or more on your video content. Almost all of the social media platforms allow you to stream or upload video content to share with others. I’m going to give you my four proven tips that worked for me when I was starting out online.
When it comes to your videos, there’s a couple different ways to go about streaming or uploading. You could: go Live on Facebook, record videos to put on IGTV, upload or livestream to YouTube, LinkedIn stream, or upload to Pinterest. Although there are many ways to share your video content, the first couple that I mentioned gave me the best results and are the most popular routes to go. I was able to cross the threshold and get lots of views early-on with doing Facebook Lives – that’s what I started with.
So, first things first, you want to be consistent with showing up on Live. Don’t get too hung up on the topic (although it is important that you know what you’re talking about), or the time of day or which day of the week you’re going to go Live. But making a commitment to go live every week should be non-negotiable. If you’re really wanting to 10x your results you’re going to want to do it multiple times a week. If you have a private Facebook group, I would recommend going Live in there at least once a week. Consistency is everything for your algorithm, your audience, and for people to become familiar with you.
Next, you want to be sure you have a consistent theme laid out. What do you want to cover? What do you want to be known for? What problems do you want to solve? What kind of content do you want to share? You need to know what you bring to the table and your solution for others pain points. For example, you could share one self-development tip a week if you’re knowledgeable on mental health and productivity. Or, you could help people with how to come up with a monthly budget if you’re good at finance. Either way, come up with your overall theme, list out some subtopics and share those in your Lives.
Now, write down what you’re going to cover and make sure you have a plan for going live. Otherwise, if you’re showing up with no outline or idea of what you’re going to talk about – you will easily get off track. Have your notes prepared and know all of your transitions into the next topic. Be sure to include a Call To Action (CTA). For example, if you are sharing your anti-inflammatory tips that you like to use, tell your viewers to go look in their pantry for similar products or purchase the ones you mentioned to help them achieve success.
Lastly, be sure to follow-up with all of your viewers. If you want to make the most out of your Facebook lives, you need to reach out to everyone who engages with your streamed content. The easiest way to do this when starting out is to jot down the names of everyone who interacted with your Live and reach out to them. Ask them a question about your Live, like what they found the most valuable? And be sure to ask for feedback – Did they find value in your content?
Remember, to get views over 1,000 you need to be consistent and not get discouraged when it doesn’t work out the first time you go live. I hope these tips are helpful and help you get to 1,000 views! Good luck, Goal Diggers!
