4 Ideas for Coaches, Course Creators, and Consultants to Monetize their Personal Brand

Calling all course creators, coaches, consultants, and entrepreneurs!! Did you know that the average millionaire has at least 7 streams of income? If you’re only at one stream, how are you going to reach your goals?! I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I am saying it’s going to take you a lot longer to get there if you’re only relying on your one stream of income. In this post, I want to share with you 4 specific ideas that will help you monetize your personal brand and build onto your streams of income. Ready to dive in?! 

To start, let’s think about the different opportunities that resonate most with you. Do you like working one-on-one with clients? Do you like working in groups? There are opportunities out there for every passion that you have. All you have to do is do some research, talk to others in the trenches, and set some goals for yourself. 

HERE are 4 Ideas to Monetize Your Personal Brand:

#1 – Create a course.

Creating a course is simple because it is a one-and-done process. For example, I created an Instagram course in 2018 and since then I’ve generated multiple 6 figures from that course without me re-launching it. How? Well I offer freebies and advertise the freebies on all social media platforms. Once a viewer clicks on the freebie and gets themselves into our email sequence, one of the offers is the Instagram course from 2018. If you keep renewing your content for your freebies and making sure they stay relevant, you can generate thousands of dollars from one course and keep that stream of income throughout the years. 

#2 – Offer a coaching service.

The benefit of coaching is that you can charge a higher ticket price because you are working one-on-one with clients and customizing a plan to their specific needs. This idea is helpful if you have a full-time job or other prior commitments because you can predict the amount of time you’re spending on it each week. If you can only commit 5 hours each week to your coaching service, take on 5 clients and do one-hour sessions each time. BOOM! You’ve got another stream of income. 

#3 – Group Coaching

Aside from launching a course and getting started, the biggest way to create wealth and create recurring revenue is with group coaching. With group coaching, you can have hundreds of students and use a one-to-many model to teach your students. This will leverage your time and income. I’m able to grow my income because I take on more students but also get recurring revenue. When you privately coach, you can’t scale that unless you bring on other coaches. 

#4 – Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is when you promote a product/business/service that you love on your blogs, social media channels, or online and anyone who signs up because you referred them will get you a portion of the revenue. Affiliate marketing is easy to set up because all you need to do is find out if a product/service/business that you like offers an affiliate program. 

I hope that these few tips were helpful and gave you some insight as to how you can create multiple streams of income for your personal brand. Bonus tip: Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying all of these right away. Become comfortable with adding one more stream of income and then tack on another when you’re ready.
