Organic engagement is down almost 30% from last year. That means we’re competing against more ads and paid traffic than ever before.
You need to beat the algorithm and keep your content relevant and timely. Also, learn how to become a smart marketer and get clear on your strategy.
How to Organically Boost Your Facebook Lives
The tips I’m going to share today are going to help you learn how to keep your Facebook Lives in the newsfeed and boost your organic content.
On any platform, there is only a short period of time for the algorithm to decide if your content is worth showing to others or not.
When you do a Facebook Live, you only get a day or 2 of traffic before Facebook decides if your Live is worth sharing on others’ timelines.
Let me share a quick and easy hack that can keep your Facebook Lives on people’s timelines for longer. It can even help get you in front of new audiences!
Step-By-Step Tactics to Boost Your Facebook Live Views & Traffic
1. Go live consistently.
Going Live consistently does many things to boost your status as an influencer. It shows that you’re committed to the process and gives people many chances to view your content. The Facebook algorithm does not favor inconsistent content. That means your content will not take precedent if you’re only going Live every couple of weeks (or less).
2. Drive people through your content.
You need to make sure that those who view your first live are taken through to your next one as well. How do you do this?
When you go Live a second time you’re going to want to drive people from the first Live to the newest one. You do that by taking the URL from Facebook Live #2 and posting it in the comments of Facebook Live #1.
Now every person who has watched, reacted, or commented on your first Facebook Live are getting notified that you commented. Then, it will take them directly to your new Live content.
This is how you take your warm market from Facebook Live #1 and notify them in a friendly way about your newest content.
This is driving your audience through your content.
3. Use this method consistently for about 6 – 12 months.
I have seen videos that are months old get new traction by using this method. Ultimately, what this strategy does is tell Facebook that these people like your content.
It’s one thing to get one comment from someone but it’s a whole other ballgame when they see your followers digesting your content consistently.
Now, every time you post or are in your stories, they will put your content above others. This helps you create habits with your market.
This is also a really great way to get new followers since you’re more likely to get your content in front of others newsfeeds.
