How to Utilize a Facebook Business Page to Grow Your Online Business

One of my favorite topics to talk about is Facebook Business pages, and I continue to get questions on them every day. If you feel like fewer people are seeing your stuff on your personal Facebook page, it’s true! That’s why these business pages are SO important! So let me share with you how to utilize your Facebook Business Page to grow your online business!

The first time I got into network marketing, I was told to create a business page, put my website on there, and get orders that way. Yeah, that did not work. Let’s talk about why that didn’t work out. We have found that organic reach has dropped even more since last year. Personal profiles on Facebook have gone down about 30%. When you’re scrolling on Facebook, do you ever feel that you notice quite a bit of ads? Now, the way that they blend in is ninja. So you can’t really tell a lot of times, but it’s heavy on ads. It was not like that five years ago. The ad space has been completely crowded, and they do this because they make more money.

Personal vs. business.

Looking at your organic posting, it’s even less on a business page. Let’s say you post on your personal profile, and you get 50 reactions and 20 comments. You will get 10 reactions and one comment on your business page. Now, here’s where it can come into play, and it can really serve you. It’s helped me so much with my brand when I start spending money. Even if you spend 10 bucks a day on ads, that’s $300 a month. I teach in my programs when you can start spending money, at that point you should look at a business page.

Running ads on Facebook.

One of the first places you should reinvest back in your business is your team. You’re going to build out, such as the VA team and ads. Leverage your time with a team. Invest back with ads.

Now, when you start using ads, Facebook business pages, ROCK! We just looked at our numbers for the last campaign we did. Ideally, you get back like a 3x return. So if you spent 300 bucks, you should get $900 in return. We had a 26x ROI. That means for what we spent, we made 26 times that. 

Build your email list through Facebook ads.

This is how I’ve been able to build my email list up to 36,000 emails in just a few years. 24/7, we run ads for a freebie. The freebie is super cheap to do, and that’s a good starting point for a lot of you. People make it out to be this super complicated thing. When you’re running freebie ads, you get emails on your email list. So now you’re building a safe place for your business. If anything happens to your social media accounts, you’ve got your email list going.

Promote events through Facebook ads.

Business pages are amazing for running ads for an event. If you’re running a free challenge, those ads will drive leads to the event. But if you are not spending money on ads, Facebook Business Pages won’t be much help. They expect you to spend money to get the word out about your business. So, you are not going to get traction unless you have already built a following on Facebook or you are an established Influencer.

Leverage Facebook groups to grow your business.

I want you to learn how to grow your audience and generate leads from your personal profile. Facebook is what we’re talking about right now, but you could do this on Instagram. You are going to learn how to post on your profile. You’re going to learn how to increase your friend’s list with your ideal avatar. You’re going to learn how to establish authority and credibility through the

content on your personal profile. Then you’re going to drive them to your community, which is your Facebook group. Our Facebook groups have 45,000-50,000 people in them. I’m a huge believer in the power of Facebook groups because it’s free. It’s an incredible way to learn how to offer value and nurture your leads. We want people to meet on our wall and bring them over to our Facebook group to provide them with value. We’re going to work on our offerings and be engaged with our audience to understand their needs. Then through our content, we are going to deliver that value. We’re going to offer solutions to their struggles.

Start with your personal profile.

Social media success requires that we are social on social media. And a lot of us don’t understand that, so I recommend you funnel people through your personal profile on Facebook. After you’ve got the organic down, your business is growing financially, and you have some money, then go over to a Facebook Business page and get that going. The mistake I see is people jump to a Facebook Business page. They end up hiding behind the business page and behind the brand name. They think that they need to be all professional, and they don’t understand how to build an organic audience. They don’t understand they need to show who they are through their selfies, stories, and personal experiences. Build up the trust factor first to set yourself up for success in the long run.
