Hello and welcome back to another episode of hashtag get lit where we crush your business in less than 10 minutes. My name is Kimberly Olson and today I’m going to take you through my three favorite ways to find your prospect’s pain points. If you’re struggling to build your network marketing business or sign on that new coaching client or even get a car, getting a customer. You can bet it is going to be linked to your ability or inability to find those pain points. Stay tuned. We’re going to dive in momentarily
So today I’m going to share with you my three favorite ways to find those pain points for your customers and your prospects and your potential clients. A lot of times when I look at screen shares of conversations with people that are in my programs and I’ll do a deep dive for them to dissect and figure out what’s going on, almost every time there’s no pain point that’s been uncovered. You have to have permission. It’s permission marketing. You need to have permission to ask the question, do you want to order? Do you want to join my team? Would you like to get into my coaching program? And if you don’t have that pain point, you don’t have a leg to stand on. You can’t, you don’t know if you’re solving a problem. You don’t want to just pitch things. You don’t want to just cold message and spam.
That’s why people get irritated because you know nothing about them. You don’t even know if they need to have the product. Great example, I don’t have weight to lose, but I’ve had several people reach out to me saying, would I be their 90 day weight loss model? It doesn’t make any sense. Okay. When they say that to me, I’m like, did you even look at my profile? I don’t need to be in a 90 day weight loss plan. Now if they saw that I had a lot on my plate and they were like, wow, how are you managing, you know, all of the things, all the plates spinning for your business. And I would say I’m having, you know, it’s a lot. And they would say, Oh, I found this really great tool where you can actually preschedule your social media out. Let me know if you want to see it.
I just found it. It’s really awesome. That would be a pain point. That would be a solution and I would be open to hearing more about that. Okay, so I’m going to share my screen because we are going to jump right in to this magical goodness. This what I’m going to show you right now is going to blow your mind. You’re gonna love it. Ignore him cause he’s very distracting. This website is called answer the public. Okay, so I will put that link below. Just click that link. It’s not an affiliate or anything, but just so it’s easier for you to find, answer the public. What you’re going to do is you are going to go over here and this is going to tell you the common questions people are asking. What are people asking? And guess what? It’s going to give you the answer.
You’re going to know exactly what the pain points are of your prospects. So ask yourself, what are the questions that my audience is asking? Okay, so let’s say your people are asking about reducing inflammation. Here’s a great one. You’re in health and wellness. You have products that can reduce, people want to know about reducing inflammation. Well, it’s gathering the data because there is so much content it’s about to spit out at you. You’re going to freak out. I’m not even kidding. So, Oh well normally it doesn’t say that, but that’s okay. 120 questions. We’ll get this. Here’s your content plan for the next year. I mean, you could go live twice a year and have enough content in here for a whole year. So what it’s going to do, It’s going to say all the different questions that have been asked, why, how, are, can, all the different questions.
So what you can do is just go through here to see the different things people are asking. So you could talk about antioxidants, you could talk about foods that will reduce inflammation. Will losing weight reduce inflammation, can massage, can fasting, right? So if you see, you could talk about the benefits of intermittent fasting, which does reduce inflammation. You could talk about the benefits of that. And then you could go look in intermittent fasting Facebook groups to find your prospects. So there’s so many clues that you can find in here. So it’s broken up into different segments. Here’s the questions that people ask here is propositions, which is basically, just, it’s a little bit different data that it’s spitting out for you, but you can take a look at that. I mean, look at this. There’s just so much good stuff. And look, it’s alphabetized right in a row. The body, the back, the brain, that blemish.
I mean endless content here. So if you’re ever feeling like you have no content, you now have content. Second place I’m going to look is in Facebook groups. So if you go over to, let’s see, let’s go to the intermittent fasting one. So we’re going to join some Facebook groups. I’m in some of these because I’ve used this for training purposes, but let’s say I’m with a health and wellness company. My product pain point, it can reduce inflammation. Another place to find pain points is in Facebook groups. So I’m thinking, all right, I’ve got Keto here, we’ve got intermittent fasting. I could look at, you know, all kinds of different, it could be what’s another really popular one? Plant base. I could look at all kinds of things, exercise after baby, whatever. So I had some groups where your avatar is hanging out.
Okay. So then what I’m gonna do is I’m going to go in the group and I’m looking for pain points. Okay? So if you click groups at the top, it’s just going to show you the groups that have to go with that. So let’s see, three posts a week. I want like lots of posts every day. So there’s 25 unread posts. We’ll go here cause this is for beginners. So now what you’re going to do to find out pain points is you’re going to go where your people are, where the avatar, where your prospects are hanging out. Go see what people are complaining about. Those are their pain points. And then you’re going to build your content around offering a solution to the pain points. All right, so she’s just asking a technical question. That’s funny. All right. Here’s a great question. After 16 hours, have tea with milk and sugar in the morning after having a glass of warm water.
Is that okay? So you could do some education on the rules of intermittent fasting. How to stay with in the guidelines of intermittent fasting and still get those results. Now as you’re doing your training, a Facebook live training or YouTube training on intermittent fasting guidelines, you could say, by the way, for those of you that are having a hard time making that 16 hour stretch, here is a supplement I take in the morning to, help me curb my cravings. It’s low enough in sugar and carbs that it won’t break your fast and it’ll keep you on track. Boom. Done. Okay. Or if you’re finding you’re not getting enough calories, you know, you could give them some solutions. Okay. She’s feeling very angry. Okay. We’re sorry to hear that. Um, this is a great one. Holy smokes, are you losing, gaining or staying?
I’m going to turn this YouTube off and go in this group and prospect and I’m just getting a little bit, are you losing, gaining or staying the same weight during the quarantine? So if people are saying gaining what I can do is all these people, I’m gonna friend request them, I’m going to shoot them a message and I’m going to say, Hey Liv, I saw that you’re also in the intermittent fasting group. I just love that group. I’ve been intermittent fasting, which is not true. But let’s say I’ve been inintermittent fasting for a few months. I’ve really, really loved it. Hey, I actually, since we’ve been home, I’ve still been losing weight because I added in a supplement that’s helped me. Let me know if you want information on it so it can help you stay on track.
If not, no worries. I’ll see you around the group. You want it to be super, super low key. You don’t want to be spamming anybody. Hey, friend, I’ve got this thing. Okay. I mean this is like a fricking Mecca of I mean, these are all prospects. Oh my gosh, that’s hilarious. Did you see that? Oh, okay. I have to focus. Third thing, third way to find the pain point is to ask. So when you’re talking to people, say to them, Hey Debbie, I saw you. You’ve read my story about, you know, adding protein powder into your smoothies to make sure you’re getting enough nutrients. It can be helpful if you’ve got picky eaters. Tell me a little bit about you. Is that something that you have any kids struggling with, getting enough protein or, what peaks your interest on that story?
And she says, Oh yeah, we’ve actually, I’ve personally been trying to find some meal replacements, trying to lose some weight, but I want to make sure I’m getting enough nutrition, you know, in my diet. Oh wow. I’m actually in the health and wellness space. I’m just going to ask her her pain points. Or if you’re talking to someone and let’s say you do a curiosity post around, I know I keep giving them health and all the examples cause it’s like my life. But let’s say you have a post about, I feel like normally with the humidity, humidity has hit Texas, normally my hair is like Tina Turner gone bad. However, I’m super pumped because I actually found something that my curls are loving, the frizz is gone, praise God. Hallelujah. Or something like that. And people are like, Oh that’s funny.
Or yay, Oh me, yeah- curls. I totally get it. I could message those people and say, Hey Sally, I saw you commented on my post about my curls. It looks like you’ve got some rockin’ curls going on over there. What about you? Are you, have you been able to combat the frizz? What’s going on with your hair this time of year? What’s the weather like by you? And Debbie, Is that her name? I forgot already, but Debbie’s like, yes or no. My hair is like Tina Turner gone bad. Like you said, it’s horrible. Oh Hey Debbie. Let me, here, I’ll shoot you over the link or I’ll shoot you over information on the products I’m using. Changed my hair. Debbie told me her pain point cause I just asked her, just ask the question. Don’t be afraid. You have to uncover the pain point to be able to offer a solution. Okay, hit the bell. Hit that little bell. See, that’s going to notify you every time I have a new training for you. All less than 10 minutes and please subscribe. Comment below. Tell me what you’re going to do. Answer the public. You’re going to go into Facebook groups. Are you just going to ask the question? I want to know. Drop it below. Make sure you never, never miss a new training by subscribing, and as always, until next time, go out there and get lit and your business and set your soul on fire.
