
In your network marketing business, a three-way chat helps you stay in control of the conversation. You won’t be waiting and wondering if your prospect has watched the video or checked out the website link you sent. Let’s talk about how to work the three-way chat. It is where the magic is at!
The biggest mistake I see people make is with the step right before the three-way chat. Typically, prior to setting up a three-way chat you would have sent a third-party tool to your prospect regarding your product or service. When you send a video, whether a Facebook video, YouTube video or inviting to a Facebook group by ATM (add, tag, message), you are now waiting for them to act. Now the ball is their court, the train has stopped at the station. We want to keep it moving. You most definitely want to send them these third-party tools! BUT without waiting for them.
Once you send the third-party tool, you also at the same time say something along these lines, “Hey Prospect, here is that video I promised you. You will love the third point, but in the meantime, let me get you some more details on how we are building this business from our cell phones.” Now she feels no pressure to watch the video, you won’t be bugging her to watch the video, yet she has it for reference when she is ready to watch it. Now is when you put her into a three-way chat with your upline. Don’t ask for permission, and don’t let her know ahead of time you are putting her in a three-way chat. Once the chat is created, introduce your prospect to your upline, by telling your upline a little about your prospect and vice versa. From here the conversation flows between you, your prospect and upline, until it is time for you take it back for the close.
This system is so duplicatable, so simple and it absolutely works! The power of the three-way chat is that your prospect is watching you and watching the whole process deciding if they can do this. Even if subconsciously. They are wondering could I build my business this way? If they see that you sent a video or website, put them in a three way chat and then offered them the prices to get started and that was it… they will see how simple it is and feel that they can do it too!
