Stay improving your sales game with five strategies. The first step is to stop trying to close people. The number one thing to remember is to serve don’t sell. Drop the sales pitch and learn more about how to serve the person you want to connect with. Stop pushing people away and learn better ways to create relationships with potential customers. Find unique ways to educate and inspire your audience.
Number two is to mentor in messenger. Mentor by offering tools and resources to your avatar. Act as a point of reference to stand out and suggest helpful resources to this individual.
The next step is to uncover pain points. Overall, you need to be getting permission to send links. View your customers at an individual level because you cannot fit your avatar perfectly into one box. The conversations will be different so your pain points will be diverse and you have to ask good questions to find out more about who they are. Ask questions, make conversation, and you’ll be able to act as a valuable resource.
The fourth step is to marry the process and divorce the results. Marry the process of building connections, new requests, interacting in messenger and on your posts, and every step that will allow you to keep growing your audience. Let go of the outcome! This will allow you to attract what you want and understand the people you’re serving.
The last step is to be organized with a REAL follow-up system. Do you have a system set in place? Don’t let people slip through the cracks. The people who follow up are the ones who grab the attention of their potential customer. Stop winging it and find a process that works for you and your team.
It takes trial and error to find the right strategies that will blow up your sales. Get your mindset right! Tell yourself the stories and the confidence that you need to hear when you’re working to close more sales.
