Deciding to build your business on social media is one thing, but knowing what the heck to post is another. What I love to encourage my clients to do is to choose five themes and rotate through them. This will allow your followers to see different sides of you and offer a variety to keep them engaged.
Too many times, network marketers post about their product or opportunity all day, every day. Please stop if that’s you or your upline is telling you to do so. Your followers don’t come onto your page to purchase or shop. They come to your page to be social. They want to get to know you better and see what you’re up to.
So to get started, pick five different areas or “buckets” of your life that you’ll rotate through sharing. Examples could be sharing inspiration quotes, family pictures, selfies, hobbies (recipes, etc.), product-related curiosity posts and the business side of what you do. Mix in some entertaining posts and fun and you’ll be good to go!
Use this The Goal Digger Girl’s Social Media Content Calendar on a weekly basis to plug in the five topics throughout the week and then build around that. Even if you just post ten times a week, rotating through the five topics, you’d see such a difference in your engagement rates and new followers. Give it a try and let me know what results you get!
