When I began my network marketing career, it was not a career at all unfortunately. I worked on my business when I felt like it or actually remembered it was something that was important to me. It seemed as if “life” got in the way every time I turned around. As a busy mom with two toddlers and several businesses to keep up with, learning to find an effective strategy I could implement daily was key to me turning things around. I studied the best and these three strategies are what takes the amateurs to professional overnight.
1. Show up on social media several times a day – if you go live three days in a row and then disappear for a month, you’re not going to create a following and most importantly, your prospects aren’t going to take you seriously. When people consider joining a business, they want to know that their leader is going to know how to teach them to be successful. Use my Daily Activity Tracker and be consistent about posting on Facebook and/or Instagram at least twice a day and in the Stories section.
2. Share your product or opportunity to two new people daily – this is an amazing tip from Eric Worre and it’s truly what it takes to make sure you’re reaching out to enough people on a daily basis. If you don’t have a set number that is a non-negotiable each day, you will find the week has gone by and you’ve prospected one or two people…or no one. We get so caught up in reading and trainings and learning that we forget to actually implement and take action.
3. Take the time to do daily mindset work and self-development – I’ve been studying leaders for a long time and ALL of them do some sort of mindset work every single day. It’s just part of their routine. Read The Miracle Morning for Network Marketers to get an idea on how to make this a habit. People will complain to me that they don’t have time but honestly, with the average person watching 30+ hours of television (yes, that’s a real statistic), they may just have to give up Netflix for awhile if they want it bad enough:).
