Facebook Groups are the One Container You Need

One key factor to remember with FB groups is to put all of your leads and connections in a container. This is where their needs can be nurtured and served. In this container, you can market to them and build up a trust within your community. Having a container is a great way for you to get to know your audience and vice versa.

A Facebook group warms your audience up.

When you first introduce a product to a consumer, most times they aren’t going to purchase right away. There are many reasons why your clients will not purchase right away. It may be: lack of interest, not enough time, or the messaging was not speaking directly to them. This is why following up is so important for your business efforts. 

An easy way to remedy this is through a built in follow up system in your Facebook group. You can continue to show up and serve, along with periodically selling in your Facebook group. Once you get a flow established, you can literally put your follow ups on autopilot. It saves you the trouble of private messaging every lead. You can create a post or go live inside your group.

Why a Facebook group?

While email marketing will always be the queen, a lot of people do not have an email list or are in the beginning stages of starting one. That’s why you need a Facebook group. Facebook is the most used social platform worldwide and has 2.91 billion monthly active users. 33.7% of those users are females aged 35 to 54. The reach is incredible! No matter who your ideal avatar is you will find them on Facebook, and they are most likely looking for a community to join. 

Your Facebook group needs to add value.

There are thousands of groups you can join on Facebook, so how do you become the one people choose to join? It’s simple! Build your group to be a value-based group that allows you to organically build. This can be done through getting to know your members,  why they joined, and what’s going on in their life. Your avatars should connect to and be interested in the content you post because the more value you add into your Facebook groups, the more people will interact with your business. Give them value without sounding too professional or salesy (don’t spam with your product posts).

Adding value is essential but you also need to be consistent with it. People need to know they can rely on you and you do that, by showing up! Your engagement will increase and the algorithm will boost your posts in front of users. 

How to get people to join your Facebook group.

Before the algorithm can boost your content to outside users, you need to be showing your content to already established Facebook friends. Invite anyone that fits the bill for the kind of community and avatar you are looking to cater to, while also making sure you welcome everyone into your community. 

To turn those invites into actual members of your Facebook group, you need to give your audience an enticing reason to join. Your main goal is to drive them to the Facebook group, your container. This is why knowing your avatar and understanding their needs is key to hosting a successful group. It will make it 10x easier to know what will hook and reel them to you. 

Treat your facebook group as your home, where people can learn about topics that will allow them to learn, grow, and flourish.
