Get fired up when it comes to connecting with new individuals! Let’s light up our sales and find ways to connect with more people than ever. 

Closing more sales can come by getting better at connecting with others online. But, where to begin?

Maybe you’re considering a reboot with the new year. Closing online sales are just like exercising anything else—you have to stick with it and make sure you are keeping your beliefs strong and consistent throughout the year. Go all in and decide to take action with your goals and make headway in your business.

Offer value with your content! By posting on social media with great value allows for conversations to happen naturally in Messenger. This allows you to have great posture and find yourself in the position of being able to talk about your passions. Think about your everyday goals when you log on to social media. You want these people to feel positive about your content and understand how to better connect with your audience. Lead with great content!

Look for ways to mentor others. Once you have connected with new individuals and have found value to share, offer different strategies that relate to what your post was about. Find a YouTube video, blog post, or any helpful piece of content that will allow you to continue offering value and sharing relevant information. Use following up as an opportunity to share another resource and further the initial conversation. This allows you to become the face of value and find ways to bring the relationship one step further with this individual. 

The next idea is to tell your new connection about your career. Tell them what you do! Don’t get in your head about it—think of the most genuine way to share information about your job. Find something you have in common with your avatar and connect over a shared interest. In conclusion, find various ways to level up and talk about what you do in a simple manner! 

Ask questions, get to know your customer, and identify their pain points. Don’t provide your link or try to oversell or overshare information, gauge the conversation, and see if it leads to your prospect wanting more information. Be patient and don’t force information on anyone you’re connecting with! Shift your current processes and find new ways to understand what is working and what is not. 

Offer a solution to your prospect! Once you understand the pain point of your avatar and understand that you can help solve their issue, find a way to share insights or details about a specific product or service. Be the person that can help provide insights without trying to sell anything!
