Posturing Up in Your Prospecting

I don’t know about you, but when I talk to network marketers, entrepreneurs, those in direct sales, and even coaches, they want more clients, customers, and team members. So when I decided to make the shift in my own business, it all came down to my posture.

Posture is how you hold yourself and how you come across.

It’s the confidence that you convey in your conversations with your prospects. It’s the energy around you presenting your opportunity, sharing your story, and how confident you are as you move them through your determined sales funnel.

You’re not fumbling around, you’re not looking for a video, you’re not just winging it.

We are not spamming and cold messaging because that energy isn’t awesome. We’ve all tried that. I heard a really good quote one time, and it goes, “Marry the process, divorce the result.”

What is the process for you to get leads? How do you nurture those relationships? Maybe you add them to a Facebook group, have challenges, or other ways to offer value in their lives to stay in front of them. That’s the piece that’s missing.

When it comes to posturing up your prospecting, this is what I want you to remember.

If you let go of the outcome and are just going for service, you’re thinking about the content you’re putting out there.

This is why it’s so important to know who you are and who you want to serve. You have to have that clear messaging to put your value and content out there. To make sure you are reaching your audience, you have to be consistent with your messaging. If you’re not consistent, you’re shooting yourself in the foot because people will learn not to trust you.

You want to be consistent with your content and come from a place of service. That is why you are in business. You are trying to make people’s lives better. You’re pouring into those people. You have a Facebook group to nurture them, so you can continue to connect in a private, intimate setting. With all these pieces in play of being consistent, value-driven, and wanting to help others, you will get clients, customers, and team members. You just will!

As someone who went from cold messaging to providing value, people would message me and tell me they loved the content I put in my Facebook group because it really helped them. So I just leaned into that. And guess what happened?

People started coming out of the woodwork.

Think about your own business right now, and you’ll know if your current process is working for you. I want you to really let go of the outcome and focus on the content. Start offering value, and your prospecting is going to completely transform.
