Today is about timely, relevant information that will really help you to move the needle in your business. Without focusing on YOUR book of business and bringing on new customers and new team members, you won’t see the results you want.  People will fizzle out and you will get frustrated. I am here to help you crush it!  Let’s dive into what I did to build my team in just 4 months!  I had to ask myself.  What was I doing to recruit people and attract them to me?  This is what I found.

Be a Mentor.  Are you pouring into people and providing value? Are you engaging and connecting with your audience? How are you showing up on social media? Are you posting occasionally and hoping people will reach out? Are you spamming people?  Do you reach out to 20 people one day and then no one for 3 weeks?  It is time to put the mirror up and ask yourself … are you showing up in a way that attracts people to you?  The best advice I can give is stop worrying about if they are going to become a customer, or join your team, or if you can “close” them.  Once you let all that go, you suddenly become a magnet, people are drawn to positive energy.

Follow up like a boss.  Most entrepreneurs are horrible at follow up.  We are so busy getting on to the next thing.  Business, family, and other obligations.  I noticed when looking back through messages of all the people that joined my business, we had multiple times of communication.  I followed up with them numerous times in different ways.  One time they may have responded to a poll, or interacted with one of my Facebook lives, commented on a post, or I invited them to a challenge or a sneak peek.  There was a lot of back and forth.  Sometimes they responded and sometimes they didn’t.  I give people two chances.  If they don’t respond one time, I will give them another chance.  After the second time and no response? I will never message them again.  Unless they reach out to me.  Don’t chase people.  For guidance on staying organized with follow ups, check out my video below and there you will find a pop-up of my training for prospecting on Trello.  You must follow up like a boss!

Create automated on-boarding systems.  I have systems in place for automation and duplication.  I do not get on a zoom for an hour with new team members where they tell me their whole life-story, and then we put a plan together and they do nothing the next day.  I used to do that, and it sucked the life out of me. I want to be able to run my business from anywhere.  Now, my team members step into my onboarding system. They take it step by step and it is set up where anyone can plug into the system and get results.  Even 10 levels below me.  Everyone gets the same onboarding training.  You need some type of launch system planned.  Take the time to get systems in place, slow down enough, so that you can get systems in place and then you can speed up.

Be proud and state “I am a recruiter!”  When you make that statement, and stake the claim, you speak it into existence.  You are sending that message into the universe that you are a recruiter!  Until next time!
