Network marketing is truly all about networking. It may sound silly, but often when I chat with a potential client about their business, they are commonly not reaching out to enough people and their results show it. You have got to learn how to leverage your network to reach as many people as possible. And who better to start with than your raving customers?! Here are a few ideas to get you started.

I highly encourage you to send a hand written thank you note to every customer that you have. When is the last time you received one? These small gestures really make you stand out. And if possible, try to remember to send a birthday message too.

Once you have confirmed that your customer loves their product or service, go over your referral program with them. Trust me, they do not understand it like you do. Show enthusiasm for the referral perks and make up your own if your company doesn’t offer any.

To help them get started with sharing, ask them to take a selfie or a progress pic and post it on Facebook or Instagram and tag you in it. You should do all the legwork of commenting and private messaging anyone who responds to their post.

And lastly, offer your customer free product or cash back if they host an event and of course invite all their friends. This is a widely accepted practice that has been going on since the Tupperware days so take advantage.
