Boss Babe Interview with Heidi Leist: How She’s Growing An Empire

One of the most down to earth, genuine, authentic boss babes is my girl, Heidi.

Heidi is a community supporter, fundraiser, and advocate for breast cancer awareness. She launched a company-wide campaign to provide food for others and support victims of trafficking, abuse, or trauma. She is a hardworking boss babe and rocking her business while raising a family. She has worked in the direct selling industry and actively helps college students navigate the entrepreneurial world.

How it all started

During her pregnancy, Heidi became an avid label reader. Through her pregnancy, she learned about what she was absorbing through her skincare products and the effects of the food she was eating. Once you start learning about the ingredients in your everyday products, you quickly learn to read the labels on everything you consume moving forward. She started with a small budget and an office space of a basement, and now has grown to working with a full team and owning facilities in Colorado and Florida! Ashley has a couple of main points to share regarding managing a busy professional and personal life.

Get to Know Other Industry Professionals

Collaborating with other professionals is a new competition. Take the time to chat with other industry professionals on Facebook in an interview or webinar format. Learn how to find new information and share ideas with other like minded individuals.

Always Leave Time for What Matters

You have to keep the faith and understand that the hard work with your business will pay off in the end. You must remain present and in the moment with your families. That is important, too. Don’t forget to schedule the time to be with your loved ones and acknowledge the overwhelm.

Learn to Pivot

Start somewhere. Once you see what is most effective in growing your business, focus most of your efforts in that direction. Always take the most time for things that make you the most money possible. You want to achieve that goal and make sure you are working towards overcoming obstacles every month. Try to keep your financial and business goals in alignment so that way you can keep monitoring what is working and what is not.

Don’t be afraid to have that conversation and let your people know when you need them. It’s okay to ask for help and it helps others to give back too. Help your tribe, and let them help you back!

Don’t be afraid to start somewhere. Go after it, goal diggers!
