What is the largest goal in your business right now?
We’re learning tips from one of the most successful women in the industry. Patti Whiteye started out as a teacher and worked her way into the business through an introduction to the products. She fell in love with the products and found a way to start it as a side hustle alongside being a teacher. She sent a goal to retire from her teaching career and move forward full-time as an entrepreneur. It took her three years to build up her business but once she found her groove, she was quickly able to connect with more customers and make more sales.
For many young entrepreneurs, they can see quickly that they want to leave their full-time work to move into their own side hustle. The flexibility of being your own boss and creating your own schedule is a huge selling point for many. Once Patti was introduced to network marketing and learned that this could be the path to early retirement, she explored ways to begin doing this as a full-time gig.
Network marketers can get discouraged or dissuaded with their business when they are not making money moves as quickly as they believe they can. Patti felt similarly to this and changed her way of thinking when it came to her business. She turned into her biggest motivator and best supporter in order to get her mind in the right place.
Learn that you have a voice and that people need to hear what you have to say. No one is you and that is your superpower! Patti agrees and says she leaps into new projects and doesn’t hold back so that she stays out of her own way.
When learning about how to get your voice heard, social media is a great direction to go. Take the time to learn the platforms that are most popular within your target audience and perfect the channel to connect with more customers and team members. With social media, consistency is so important. Learn how to create a routine for creating and posting within the same routine each day but don’t always stick with the same templates and concepts on your channels. By being authentic and consistent, you’re allowed to connect and reach more followers than ever. Patti shows up every single day inside her business group and has been since the very beginning.
Stop getting caught in the comparison trap! It can be so intimidating to watch others have success. Try to channel the intimidation as inspiration to perform better. Embrace the journey and the path that you’re on. Everyone works at their own pace! Give yourself a goal to work towards but don’t beat yourself up if you need to take a minute for reflection.
Growth happens once you put your all into your business. Make it a goal to be impactful and let your passion guide your work. You’ll only find growth once you break out of what’s holding you back.
Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself. Go out and find resources to help grow your personal and professional life.
