As an entrepreneur, it’s your responsibility to create and come up with appealing graphics and visuals to engage with your audience. I’d like to share with you how I capture my visually appealing content throughout the day but don’t spend my whole day on my phone trying to post story after story.
I have noticed that many people struggle with finding time to sit down and create engaging stories. So, how can you capture fun content throughout the day and make a great story without spending the day with your nose in your technology? My advice to you is to capture all of your content during the day, but don’t stop to create your stories until you have time to yourself and can be in a creative headspace. Whether it be in the early morning, when your kids are down for a nap, or after the whole house goes to sleep and you’re alone…don’t go back through your content until you have time to sit down and spend some time on it.
If you delegate a specific time each day to when you can convert your images and videos you’ve captured, then it will eventually become a habit and you will find yourself having more time to spend living in the moment. To be sure that you remember what images and videos you want to use in your stories, I suggest that you favorite them or add them to a separate album so you don’t have to spend time digging through all of your photos to find the ones that you need. If you’re looking for more content of yourself to feature on your social media, you should also set aside time once a week, or month, to put on some fun outfits and take photos of yourself throughout your home or yard. Find some visually appealing settings in or around your home and have a fun photoshoot for yourself. It takes many tries to gather the perfect photos and content, so doing this once a month will provide you with plenty of opportunities to capture your wonderful photos.
I find that investing time each day to create my stories is way more helpful than trying to keep up with it throughout the day. If you know that you have time set aside to work on them later, you aren’t going to be wasting the day away on your phone. Being able to have freedom with your time also means you need to know how to time manage. Find a time to work on those awesome stories and still have time to live in the moment.
