Embrace the Battle and Smash Your Goals

Becoming an entrepreneur and building a business from the ground up is not easy. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. I’m so excited to share with you incredible insights from Justin Prince on what it means to be an entrepreneur and how to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset. Justin is an author, international speaker, entrepreneur, and has passed $1 billion in sales. He’s so excited to share his experience with you and provide his wisdom to impact, influence, and inspire entrepreneurs of all levels.

Justin started many businesses, the first of which failed, with no professional background and no college education. One thing that he really had going for him was his passion and his drive to achieve his goals and push forward. He was introduced to network marketing in his early 20s and started off a little skeptical because he was a beginner, but ended up being the fastest growing distributor for his industry in the U.S. He is so inspiring to me and to others because he shows what it means to embrace the struggle and keep moving forward until you find success.

Discovering Your Greatness

A lot of amateur entrepreneurs don’t realize what it means to find your skills and capitalize on it until you build momentum within your business. You know what your best skills are, so use them in your business!

I asked Justin, what would you tell people when they are trying to discover their greatness? His biggest advice was to run toward the thing that scares you and don’t cower away. If it scares you, it’s probably something worth doing. He says that although the odds may be stacked against you, all you need to keep in mind is that it’s possible. All you need to move forward is to know that your dreams and aspirations are possible! Don’t resent others for their success stories. Listen to their success stories and let it motivate you to build your own.

Become A Successful Thought Leader

My next question was, what are the common traits among successful thought leaders? Justin is and has been around  many successful entrepreneurs who have started from nothing and the thing he noticed most about them was that they speak with so much vision for their career journey. Successful leaders envision all the success they want to achieve, speak it into existence and use that to boost morale. It may seem scary to predict how your business will flourish without first laying the groundwork, but people buy into an overall mission. People will get on board with you if you have a preconceived notion on how your business will succeed because that means that’s what you are working toward. He also talks about the power of the word “let’s” meaning let us all do this together! Find entrepreneurs with a similar mindset and jump on their bandwagon to turn up motivation for yourself and your company.

Persevere Through the Battle

My final question for Justin, “For those that are struggling with their business, no matter what level they’re at, what advice would you give to them?” He makes it a point to share that you should never give up on a bad day. We all have bad days, but that just means that there are brighter days ahead. Embrace the struggle and keep moving forward until you find success. Winning is hard but losing is worse. He makes a great point about quitting; if you quit, then you have to return back to the job you hate and that takes a toll on your mental health. In this industry, you must always keep moving forward, left-foot, right-foot, as Justin puts it. Lastly, he expresses how crucial it is to figure out your reasons for moving forward. The reasons that you choose will define who you are as a business-person.

If your dream is to become a successful entrepreneur, you need to discover your greatness, become a successful thought leader, and never give up.
