Do you feel like you don’t know how to be genuine or vulnerable when connecting with new people online? Let’s talk about new ways to find your voice and be confident in who you are.
When it comes to being a people pleaser, I used to have problems speaking up or using my voice. I had to overcome and get past trying to please everyone and stop being afraid to make everyone upset. Confident people speak their voice, but it has to be through conviction and understanding when you have felt wronged.
You have to take the first step to recognize that you are shifting your mindset and being courageous when speaking up to others. Becoming more direct and understanding how to be more confident in our interactions won’t happen overnight, but we must actively use our voice to share our thoughts so we can practice being honest and transparent about our feelings. don’t fall into spouts of doubt and misunderstanding, be strong and take the time to feel your emotions and share feedback regarding the situation. As you follow through with your ideas and work on your mindset, you’ll only gain more confidence in your abilities and being able to have the freedom you’ve always dreamed of.
Every uncomfortable conversation makes you a little bit stronger and more confident in your communication skills. You have to be able to pivot and have those difficult conversations when you’re uncomfortable or upset. Don’t let others project their insecurities on you and be sure to use your voice when you are hurt by those people.
When you level up and speak your voice, you are giving other people permission to do the same. We can all improve and benefit from sharing our voices and knowing that we have value and opinions to share. Let’s start sharing our feelings and make it known that it’s totally acceptable and beneficial to speak your thoughts.
