Have you jumped on the Instagram Reels train yet?! If not, it’s time to do so! I’ve generated many leads through the power of video marketing, but Instagram Reels just steals the show every time! ONE Instagram Reel of mine generated dozens of leads. Yes. Dozens! It took me 15 seconds to make, I didn’t have to prepare or plan, and I was able to get new leads, new customers, all while using a simple sales process. If you need the deets, follow along below!
If that didn’t already convince you of the power of reels, then let me explain to you the quick, simple sales process that takes literally seconds to implement. Instagram recently announced that the platform is moving its focus to promoting video content over photo content. Photos will still be available, but video content will also be promoted in your newsfeed and heavily in your discovery page. If you want to get in front of your ideal prospect and new people to get discovered, you need to follow along with this sales strategy.
Write this down, type it out on a digital document, or leave yourself a voice memo because you’re not going to want to miss out on this structure of how to make an Instagram Reel. The main focus of your reel should be to tell a story. For example, one of my Instagram Reels that generated many leads was a story about me (a mom) who just wanted to fit into her jeans again and have enough energy to work, spend time with family, and participate in my hobbies. Your story should lead into a pain point. In my example, my pain point is that I’m feeling low on energy. Next, you want to offer a solution and give hope. Your solution should be your product and/or service! Lastly, include a Call to Action (CTA) in your video so they easily know how to reach you. Be sure to include hashtags in your description to boost your algorithm. It’s seriously that simple.
From just one Instagram reel, I’ve generated 36 new leads and converted six of them into customers. What you will start to learn by implementing reels into your Instagram profile is how to be an online marketer and how to share what you offer without showing your products and sales all the time. Video marketing is the new wave of the future; quick, short clips are the ways that consumers are digesting content now and we have to learn how to adapt. Don’t worry about how you look or what you’re doing, just have fun with it! And ask yourself everyday, what am I doing to hustle and generate leads?
