Level Up Your Instagram with Reels

Are you making Reels on Instagram? 

Reels are similar to TikTok videos. They are short clips that you can set to music or use your voice for the audio! The beauty of Instagram Reels is that you can get your videos to show up on the Discover page. This allows you to get in front of thousands of people and more eyes on your content. You can either create the video on TikTok and repurpose to Instagram or make it on the Instagram app. 

Normally, I will batch my content and create several videos on the same day. This allows you to get a cohesive idea and theme to your reels. Find your jam and stick to these types of videos!

Next, allow your Reel to show up on your profile grid. This allows you to get more traction and more eyes on the video. Once you’ve posted it to your grid, you’ll want to reshare the Reel to your Instagram story. Then you can share it to your Facebook story from there! 

Play around with it until you find what is favored by the algorithm. You’ll find that some Reels might flop and not get as many views if you are changing up the type of Reel constantly. Be consistent! It doesn’t have to be every single day, but find the right schedule for you and make sure to be posting your Reels on time.

Find what works for you! Video content is king—it’s only becoming more popular with the Instagram algorithm.
