As a network marketer and entrepreneur, we should know that the only way to get our business off the ground is to be our own support system and advertise ourselves. So why aren’t you posting your business as much as you should be? Are you scared of what others might think? Probably. Are you nervous for what comments might come flying in? Of course! But, that doesn’t mean you can hold yourself back from your fullest potential. In this blog, I’m going to show you how to acquire the right mindset and take action on your social media channels!
I believe the reason why some people aren’t sharing is because they are overthinking it and making decisions for people before they even have a chance to respond to the story, post, or share. You need to be confident enough in your own product or service to say, “I know, for a fact, that I have something that can truly help people.” But, instead of thinking highly of ourselves, we project our insecurities onto others. And, instead of embracing the uncomfortableness and posting to our channels anyways, we end up not posting at all.
Whenever you are feeling overwhelmed about work and your specific situation, it’s because you’re in your mind too much. However, when you’re overwhelmed in your mind, it’s when you need to take action. Being overwhelmed is when you’re stuck in perpetual thinking instead of actual thinking. Your business is your business for a reason! Your job is to take care of yourself and your business, not to take care of other people. Is it making you any money when you don’t post online? No! So let’s start! Instead of throwing in the towel, get out of your head and get a grip.
If you are someone that is in this mindset of being too scared to be vulnerable, think about why you are not sharing and what can you do to start sharing with people? Right now, pull out your phone or laptop, go to your wall, and take action! Throw up a story or a post about how excited you were to take your family out to dinner with the money from your side hustle, or post anything really! Or if there’s someone that’s been on your mind to reach out to, go for it!
When we take action, it mobilizes us…it gives us the motivation that we need to start to gain traction and get back into the driver’s seat. But, when you’re in your head, your subconscious mind is totally doubting you. You aren’t going to get fired from your own business! But, you are the only one who is stopping yourself from success. So, be consistent. Learn the skill set that you need to be successful. And keep going!
