Are you ready to plan out an entire month of content for Facebook? No more staring at the screen and drawing a blank! How exciting will it be to take one hour out of your day and plan out an entire month of content! Planning enables you to easily pump out the content yet be strategic and stay aligned with who you are, your personal brand.
The first step is to determine your 5 buckets of personal branding. If you are not sure about personal branding, go to my YouTube channel “The Goal Digger Girl” and search for personal branding to get some guidance. I recommend that your 1st bucket should be “personal”. This is where you can share about family, friends, and what is going on in your world. Your 2nd bucket is a “niche” bucket, which is ultimately your product bucket. You need to back it out a bit though. If your product is jewelry, do not constantly post about jewelry. Instead create a “beauty” bucket or “lifestyle” bucket, where you talk all things beauty and then occasionally work in your jewelry. The 3rd bucket will be your “business” bucket. Here share client testimonials, something new you are working on, or praise a team member. The 4th bucket could be inspirational, such as quotes, or content on mindset. Bucket #5 could be a hobby, travel, or anything you want, but it should be another dimension to who you are. Of course, these are my recommendations, but a great place to start!
Next you will want to choose a theme for each day of the week. In the video below, I walk you through some ideas on my Trello board and show you how to rotate through each bucket and theme throughout the week and month. Your goal on social media is to have people follow you because they know, like and trust you and therefore buy from you for the same reason. Putting out consistent, engaging content daily helps to establish yourself as the authority figure in that space.
The great thing about a Trello board is once you have everything planned out and you begin posting, you can look at what is preforming well. What is getting great engagement? What posts are people commenting on the most? Add those to the “Most Engaging Posts” column on your Trello board for future reference. From this list you can recycle the content about every 4 – 6 weeks. This helps to see what your audience likes, what they want, and what is working for you.
Your Facebook content Trello board will take some leg work to get started, but once you get it going and plan a month, it becomes like clockwork. Using Trello and seeing your content laid out visually helps get all the busyness out of your head. Check out the video below where I go through how to use the Trello board and I even have a link to share my board! If you have never used Trello before, it is amazingly simple and will be life-changing!
Until next time! #TrelloIsLife
