Let’s talk about some quick ways to monetize a smaller audience.
The exciting part about organic engagement is that I had reached over half a million in revenue before starting any type of paid advertising. I’ve had multiple friends with advertising accounts shut down, so having the ability to monetize and organically grow your audience is key to becoming profitable.
The first step is commenting on Facebook posts. Whether someone commented on apost, Facebook live, or whatever it may be — I became friends with all of them. I became connected and got to know those that engaged with my video. You can also easily customize a new friends list where you can just see their posts or select the “see first” news feed on Facebook. Get to know them, like, and/or comment on their content. Send them a direct message or connect with them online to learn more about their life. You’re creating credibility and forming relationships with those who engage in your audience.
Then, you’ll want to create great content every single day. It’s your personal profile – you’ll want people to see you sharing and posting interesting stuff but provide value and pay attention to what your followers are interested in. Find out their pain points through great content. This is essential for understanding any audience you are reaching.
Grow your engagement through going live. Go live inside of your FB Group, on your personal page,etc. You’ll get favored in the algorithm and you’ll grow more engagement through those that are interacting with your posts.
Ultimately, get feedback! Pay attention to what is working and what gets the most engagement. You have to adjust, scope it out, and give your followers what they want to find.
