Reset, Reprogram, and Master Your Mindset

Learning how to master your mindset is not an easy task! I had the help of my friend, Michelle Thompson, to really rediscover and explore my mindset. She taught me skills to change my mindset around and live a more positive life. I sat down with her to chat about the best ways to really master your mindset and live a better life.

Understanding your mindset and how it can determine your personal and professional future is essential for growing your business.

Mindset is defined as the reason behind your behaviors. It can shift and grow along with you and your development. There is a difference between having a fixed and a growth mindset.  A fixed mindset is when an individual gets knocked down due to failure or limiting beliefs. This limiting mindset will cause more roadblocks and prevent you from reaching your full potential. A growth mindset is where you welcome new challenges and understand your own potential. A growth mindset means putting in the work and effort to reach the desired results. Individuals with growth mindsets understand that failure can be an opportunity to grow and learn. Learning skills to aid in your mindset such as time blocking, meditation, or whatever works for you to stay organized can be helpful on your mindset journey.

Management is key for exploring and improving your mindset. Learning how to manage your priorities and getting organized is super helpful for understanding where your mind needs to be. Everyone has the capability to enhance their growth mindset and better themselves through their thinking.

If something isn’t working, break down your process to understand the disconnect. Find the problematic areas so you can get a better understanding of how to become more efficient. Get out of your own way to level up your expectations and skills! Understand the way that you’re aligned and start telling yourself positive stories and affirmations.

As humans, we go through many different emotions. Take some time to focus on your emotions and over time, you’ll have a better understanding of what thoughts serve you and what is not. Reprogram your negative thoughts by first recognizing that they are there. Have the confidence to turn off the negativity tape and turn on a note that is positive and motivating. If you can create a negative narrator in your head, what is stopping you from creating a positive one?

Set your mind into action. See a project all the way through to understand how capable you are of training your mindset positively.
