You might have a great business opportunity, product, course, coaching program… but if you don’t have enough eyes on your content then it won’t matter. The more eyes on you, the more your audience grows, and in turn, the more your business will too!

Organic engagement has gone down over 30% in the last year. As people return back to work, less and less people are on social media. You need to find the users that are still active and will continue to be. Learn who to target and how to get their attention. This engagement hack will not only get your target audience’s attention, but the attention of others as your profile grows and becomes more visible.

Ask yourself, what kind of audience growth do you want? What is the energy you want associated with your growth? Then, dive into the next steps to see immense growth! 

Before you can grow your audience and follower count, you need to make sure you have a profile worth following. There are three key elements that will help make your profile ‘follow worthy’. If you implement these three elements into your content strategy you will see results.

1. Share original content
2. A selfie, a picture with friends, a behind-the-scenes photo, a quote you created, etc. 
3. Actively engage with those who are commenting and engaging with your content
   • Reply back and ask them a question
   • Do not just drop an emoji!!
4. Be consistent!!

Your branding is everything. Your profile is often the first impression that a potential client will have of your business. When it comes to your social profiles,image is everything. Make sure you put effort into your profile. You don’t have to hire a social media manager or content creator (though that could help with schedule and workload) you just need to put the time in that it takes to post a simple photo and engage with your audience. 

The following hack works on multiple platforms but the two I will be giving you a step by step guide to are Instagram and Facebook. 

Following Hack for Instagram

1. Go to your ideal avatar’s instagram profile
   • Look at who your audience is and find out who they are loving and interacting with
2. Go to the following tab on their profile and sift through who is following them
   • Take a quick look at their profile and decide if they fit your target audience
3. As you look at people’s accounts, start following
   • Follow people every day 
   • The max you can average a day on instagram is 200 *Do Not Exceed*

Following Hack for Facebook

1. Select an account that has a big following count
   • Choose one that is not too popular but big enough
2. Go to that accounts latest post
3. Click on their reactions at the left hand corner of the post
4. Sift through and start adding people as friends
   • Friend up to, but not exceeding, 20 people a day (so as to not be sent to Facebook jail) 
5. After you friend 20 people, start looking at the accounts that say “follow” next to their name as opposed to “add friend” and start following them
   • This means that they have a creator account on facebook and could be a business or influencer you should connect with

If you follow these steps I promise you will see results. Take charge of your profile and get people to notice you.
