There are still so many network marketers out there who think that link dropping is okay and helpful in building their business. We’re going to talk about how the money is really made in messenger. If you don’t understand the power of the inbox or the DM and you’re still trying to push your link and post it all over the place in hopes that people will click on it – this will change your life.
Once I understood that the connections are really made in messenger, my whole business changed. I used to think that if I had a website, people would miraculously find it without even searching for it. I was extremely wrong. I also used to put the name of my company in my website link and on my Facebook and Instagram bios, that’s not necessary. The thing that some people don’t recognize is that there are thousands, maybe millions, of people selling what you sell. So, ask yourself: Why would they order from me or join my business? The difference is YOU!
People buy from those that they know, like, and trust. Even if you’re selling the same products or services as your neighbor, if you build a better connection with someone, they will most-likely purchase from you. I know that you know this concept is important because of how many times I reiterate it. Get comfortable with the know-like-trust factor! Stop link dropping and let go of the idea that you’re going to have people click on your link if you put it in your bio. They’re probably not going to, and even if they did, you don’t get the opportunity to connect with them directly which means you don’t get to learn their pain points and offer your solutions.
The money is made in messenger because this is your chance to have a conversation and connect with them on a deeper level. If they say that they have never heard of your product before, now is your opportunity to tell them why your customers love it so much. When you do identify their pain points, you can then offer a solution. After you come up with the solution, give them a resource such as a testimonial, a before and after photo, a YouTube training, websites, anything you know of that will help them solidify their decision in working with you.
Money is in messenger whether you’re hanging out on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. The people who get that are the ones totally crushing their biz. I want you to start viewing messenger differently and making it a priority to get into the DMs as soon as possible!
