The Secret Sauce to Instagram Success

Stop leaving leads on the table! In order to continue crushing your business, you have to level up on Instagram!

I’ve found some secret hacks to connect and build up your presence on Instagram. A great goal is to initially connect with prospects on IG or other platforms, and move them to Facebook or get them into the sales funnel. 

First, start by taking a look at your own Instagram. Make sure your Instagram has a call-to-action in your bio. Include one clickable link on your Instagram account and direct your followers to your personal website, Linktree, or something that could offer value to your audience. Set your profile up for success!

The second place to scoop leads is from comments on your posts. Stop replying with only emojis—be sure to add value to your audience. Use 4-6 words as a response instead of an emoji. Always engage back with your followers! This allows you to slow down a bit and stand out by continuing the convo with your followers. Let’s really start connecting in a genuine way. 

The third way to connect with more leads on Instagram is by using the poll feature, quiz feature, or asking a question in your story. Create content in your stories that encourages engagement and feedback from your audience. This gives you details about your customers and client base and you can better understand the pain points of your audience. Don’t complicate it when it comes to understanding your avatars and addressing their pain points. 

Utilize some of the tools on Instagram! Discover the ones that resonate with you. Instagram has tons of features that include videos such as Reels and IGTV—so if you are comfortable in front of the camera, these might be good features for you to try. You can also repurpose existing content to your Instagram profiles. 

Next, connect with more accounts. Follow more accounts and find more like minded individuals to meet on the platform. Occasionally, I will unfollow the same amount of users as I’m following, and unfollow the users that I engage with the least. This will allow you to get in front of your idea avatar. It is beneficial to send a quick message to a new follower. It’s a nice touch point of connecting with someone new. 🙂

Work on these five areas when you’re ready. Sometimes it can be best to master one social media platform before moving to the next one. Once you’re ready to dive into Instagram, don’t be afraid to try out all it has to offer! The platform is always updating and the algorithm advances alongside it.
