There’s a huge difference between ‘fake working’ and MMA’s—AKA, money-making activities. We’re building our brands on social media each day, so it’s important to understand what tasks are beneficial to your business and seems like a waste of precious time.
Each day, there are important, reoccurring tasks to advance your business. First, add new people to your list! There are followers who are more engaged than others, of course. But you need to get in front of and focus on potential leads on all social channels. Send out friend requests, reply to direct messages, and follow and unfollow users on different channels. Users are constantly following and unfollowing accounts to keep up with trends, and you should be doing the same to make sure you are reaching the right audiences. It’s important to stay on top of following up and reaching out!
Second, expose new people! Share and lift up your people and spread the love on social media. If you’re not sharing, you’re not selling. Find unique ways to talk about those on your team and their accomplishments. This type of content will promote curiosity and engagement to understand more about your business.
Third, make sure to follow up. Most leads are never followed up on, and the opportunity is completely lost! You don’t want to miss out on the next rockstar because you forgot to reply to their message. Take the time to follow up with everyone you’re connecting with. Send a personalized message with information and connect with your friends online even further.
Become in control of your social media channel. All of the steps along the way will lead you to make more money and grow your business. It is beneficial to take a look at who is understanding, engaging, and loving your content then strategizing on how to increase your audience.
