Don’t you want to know what the successful are doing? I know I do! Here are the 10 secrets of successful people.
Secret #1 – They have clarity. Successful people know exactly what they want. They are clear. Whether it’s rolling out a podcast, writing a book, getting their YouTube videos up and running, launching a coaching program, or building their network marketing business. They pick one and get it done. I have done all these and if I hadn’t been clear on what I wanted, none of it would have been accomplished.
Secret #2 – They have focus. Getting clear and having focus go hand-in-hand. We all have many roles we fill. When you have goals you are working on, pick one! Successful people pick one and go all-in on that one thing until its done.
Secret #3 – They are confident. How can you be confident if your not? It’s all about your mindset. What you tell yourself every day. If your “stinkin’ thinking” is ruining your entrepreneurial efforts and your ability to make money, begin now to tell yourself a new story. Which is… you are awesome! Get good at redirecting your thoughts. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
Secret #4 – They are resourceful. Be independent. Use Google search or YouTube when you are frustrated and can’t figure something out, or don’t know how to do something. You don’t understand social media? Don’t get Instagram? Research it. When we say “I can’t” or “I don’t know how” it shuts off the brain from all possible solutions. So ask yourself, are you coachable? Are you willing to get the training you need?
Secret #5 – They are determined. You have to accept before you even start, that there will be ups and downs. It won’t always be an easy path. Be so committed to your end goal, that nothing will get in your way.
Secret #6 – They have grit. What is grit? It means you are mentally tough. When you get that “hater” or a person ghosts you, or someone says something nasty or negative? Get mentally tough. This could be a friend, family member, or even your spouse. NO matter what, you are in it for the long haul.
Secret #7 – They are organized. Yes, I said it, organization. You must have a plan. Do you have a social media strategy or a plan for generating leads? Email marketing plan? What systems do you have in place? What is your daily method of operation?
Secret #8 – They are worth following. Are you influential? Are you educating others? How are you inspiring and providing value to those around you? Be someone worth following.
Secret #9 – They don’t compare. You are writing your chapter. It will do you no good to worry about what others are doing, it doesn’t feel good to compare to others, so don’t do it. Stay in your lane.
Secret #10 – They are unconventional. Someone has to be the one to step forward and do the hard things. Be bold. Be brave. Be different. Don’t do what everyone else is doing.
